OFFICIAL RELEASE: The All-New 2026 Kawasaki KX300 Has Arrived

Kawasaki is proud to announce the arrival of the all-new 2026 KX300, the next evolution in high-performance motocross engineering. Designed for riders who demand more power, sharper handling, and advanced technology, the KX300 delivers an exhilarating experience that’s ready to dominate tracks around the world. The 2026 KX300 will carry a U.S. MSRP of $10,999, positioning it as a premium option for serious riders seeking factory-level performance.

This latest model marks a significant step forward in Kawasaki’s off-road lineup, offering a powerful alternative for those who want more muscle than a 250cc machine but prefer the agility and weight advantages over a full 450. It’s a strategic addition that fills the gap with a perfect blend of torque, top-end speed, and control.

The global release of the 2026 KX300 is scheduled to begin in June 2025, with select European dealerships receiving the first wave of units. North American markets will follow closely behind in July 2025, with availability expanding to other regions later in the year. Kawasaki’s phased global rollout ensures that riders across continents will soon experience the innovation and excitement that the KX300 brings to the track.

At the heart of the KX300 is an all-new 292cc four-stroke engine that builds on the legacy of Kawasaki’s proven KX powerplants. Featuring a redesigned cylinder head, optimized intake and exhaust flow, and advanced fuel injection mapping, the KX300 delivers a robust powerband that pulls strong from low-end torque through midrange punch and all the way to an impressive top-end. This makes it an ideal machine for aggressive riders who want power on tap no matter the terrain or track layout.

The KX300’s lightweight aluminum perimeter frame has been engineered to complement the new engine’s characteristics, providing enhanced lateral rigidity for precise handling and confident cornering. Combined with updated suspension components from Showa, including fully adjustable forks and a Uni-Trak rear shock, the KX300 delivers a balanced and planted feel even in the most demanding race conditions.

New for 2026, the KX300 also introduces a suite of electronic rider aids previously seen on Kawasaki’s flagship models. Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) makes its debut in this segment, offering adjustable settings to suit different surfaces and rider preferences. In addition, a handlebar-mounted mode selector allows riders to switch between power modes on the fly—perfect for adapting to changing conditions mid-race.

Riders can also tap into the full potential of the bike using RIDEOLOGY THE APP KX, Kawasaki’s Bluetooth-enabled tuning platform. The app allows for easy adjustments to engine mapping, ride logs, and maintenance tracking—all from the convenience of a smartphone. Whether fine-tuning for hardpack or dialing in for loamy soil, riders can personalize their setup with factory-level precision.

The 2026 KX300 maintains Kawasaki’s race-focused ergonomics, with adjustable footpegs and a four-position handlebar mount for a tailored fit. The bike also features ODI Lock-On grips for quick replacement and a secure feel during long motos. The sleek, slim bodywork enhances rider movement and offers a sharp, aggressive aesthetic that reflects its performance pedigree.

With the introduction of the KX300, Kawasaki redefines the middleweight motocross category. It’s a bike built for riders who want more than a 250 can offer but aren’t ready to jump to a 450. From weekend warriors to aspiring professionals, the 2026 Kawasaki KX300 offers the perfect mix of power, agility, and control.

The wait is over. The future of mid-class motocross has arrived. The 2026 Kawasaki KX300 is here—ready to race, ready to win.
