Celebrities, North Carolina legends expected in Chapel Hill for Bill Belichick’s debut
The start of the Bill Belichick era in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, is now just hours away, as the Tar Heels are set to take on the TCU Horned Frogs at home in front of what’s sure to be a packed crowd on Monday night.
Along with tens of thousands of everyday fans and students, there will also reportedly be a number of UNC legends in attendance to watch what everyone is hoping will be the start of a new golden era in Tar Heels football.
According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, the star-studded list of North Carolina icons slated to be in attendance on Monday night will include names like Michael Jordan, Lawrence Taylor, Mia Hamm, Julius Peppers, and Blake Snell, just to name a few.
This “who’s who” of North Carolina royalty will be in attendance for what’s arguably the biggest game the Tar Heels’ football in recent memory, and they’ll all be there to see whether or not Belichick has that same magic he did for all those years as the head man of the New England Patriots.The stars will be out for the big event, and if all goes to plan, then they’ll have plenty to celebrate by the time the game ends.
